This is either a closing day activity after a multi-session design challenge or a gradually developed product over the course of a multi-session design challenge, where learners write all about their engineered solutions that they made and the process of making them. As part of presenting on these engineered solutions, learners share designs that can be replicated. Since it may be difficult to remember specific actions over a long period of time, maybe this procedure is written over the course of weeks. A prompt for engineering notebooks: Describe what you did today, make a list of steps of what you did. These procedures can contain multiple design iterations and document the process of engineering decision making, as well as enable the replication of a final design.
