Students clump into groups and are given a large sticky-note/chart paper and are asked to write questions that they have about a client that is written on the paper. Students then rotate to other sticky notes after 5-7 min of writing and asking questions. The other sticky notes should have other clients on them, who have other problems and needs. For a last round of rotation, students should circle ideas/questions that they would like to explore, or that they think are related between all of the clients. To incorporate notebooks, have students write down questions that they’d like to explore. These questions can be from multiple clients.
