First, consider personal experiences in elementary school in a reflection activity. Share these in a large group discussion.
In a small group (4-6 educators) discussion, consider your role in the classroom, how you impact and are impacted by classroom culture/the norms of schooling, and how your goals align/conflict with these norms. Consider the role of engineering notebooks through this lens.
